Flag Stands available in one flagpole includes pole and base, two flagpole includes poles and base, or three flagpole includes poles and base, the later flag stands are referred to as a trident flag stand.
All our flag stands come complete with the base and hardwood poles available in two heights, either a 2.4 metre or a 1.8 metre high with either a gold or silver round base 3.4 kg suitable for indoors or a heavy duty black square base 6kg suitable for both indoors and outdoors.
They come with gold or silver balls and a cowel that allows the flag cord to be held firmly in place but can be unscrewed to allow the flags to be changed.
We provide a 10-year warranty on the base and hardwood poles and the stainless-steel sleeve attached in the middle of the pole has a thumb screw that allows the flagpole to come apart for easier travel or storage.
The flagpole is able to slide in and out (no screwing in or out required) from the 20cm stainless steel sleeve attached to the base that unlike a wooden hole becomes worn and wobbly over time.
This slide in slide out feature makes it ideal for students to handle when marching on days such as ANZAC day or where you have a school parade.
It is important to note when moving the flag stand the pole or poles must be removed and the base then moved on its own otherwise it could indeed damage the base and that may void the 10-year warranty.

For the 1.8 flag stand flags of 1500 x 750 are suitable as the standard 1800 flag will drag on the ground.
The option to have us print up a school flag including your school logo and may include your mission statement or celebration of the school’s anniversary date made in the same design or format as the Australia flag looks very uniform.
No tools are required to change over the flags so if they have need to be changed or washed simply unscrew the ball at the top and remove the cowel and the flag slides off and to replace simply follow the same procedure in reverse to re attach the flags

The black heavy-duty base weighs a little more than 5kg and is suitable for outdoor assemblies providing the wind is only moderate – with all indoor flag bases the flagpoles have to be removed before moving the base. Not to be used outdoors if raining.
The Trident Flag Stand allows three flags to be displayed.
In order from left to right it would go Aboriginal, The Australian flag in the middle and then to the extreme right the Torres Strait Islander flag or if displaying the state flag, it would also be to the right of the Australian flag.
